Information Collected

As you would expect, we monitor visits to our website, principally so that we can try to make it as easy to navigate as possible, identify the areas that are of particular interest to visitors and generally improve the Site and our services. The information that we collect in this process will not identify you as an individual, however - we do not seek to identify individual visitors unless they volunteer their contact details through, for example, one of the forms on the Site. In some circumstances our records may identify organisations visiting our Site and we may use that information in managing our relationship with those organisations - for example, in considering how to develop the services that we offer them. Gio Legal may collect and store personally identifiable information about persons and organisations that visit this Site and voluntarily submit information.

We reserve the right to utilise cookie technology. Our Site sometimes uses cookies - small data files which are downloaded to your computer so that we can recognise that your computer has visited the Site before. We do not use cookies to identify you, just to improve your experience of the Site - for example, by allowing the Site to remember your bookmarks and language preference. If you choose to disable your cookies setting or refuse to accept a cookie, however, you will not be able to access the Site with the use of your password. At times, some of our advertisers and their advertising service providers set cookies when you click their advertising banners. While we use cookies in other parts of the Site (as discussed above), cookies received with banner ads are collected by those advertisers and their advertising service providers.
